1:1 consultations are available as home visits or by via video call if it is not possible to meet face to face.
Ahead of our meeting you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire and a food diary, both of which will be fully analysed ahead of our meeting. This will enable me to build a picture of your child’s eating habits, your family situation and the food that your child is currently eating.
You may be asked to have your child weighed and measured and it may also be necessary for me to obtain relevant medical records from your GP practice.
What the 1:2:1 Consultation Covers
During your consultation I will fully assess all relevant aspects of your child’s diet and medical history. This will enable us to formulate an achievable and realistic plan that fits your child’s needs and your everyday life.
For some consultations I may send you a video to watch ahead of our meeting and for others I may request that you record part or all of a mealtime for me to review.
I see children for many reasons, some of which include:
- Ensuring healthy growth in babies and children
- Preventing nutritional deficiencies
- Vegan or vegetarian diets
- Food allergy (such as milk, egg, soya or a combination of these)
- Coeliac disease
- Fussy eating
